Delivery and Returns

Your order will be processed by Petstop within 24 hours. 

Unfortunately, our main courier DPD are experiencing large volumes of parcels in certain areas.  They are working tirelessly to get through this backlog but there are up to 6 day delays in some counties. 

Please note, this is completely out of our control and we will do everything we can to reduce this delay.  We also partnered with new couriers in Dublin, Meath, Louth & Kildare and the delivery time on these is under 3 days.

Home Delivery - Delivery by courier DPD

We use the courier service from DPD to deliver within the Republic of Ireland. United Kingdom and Main Land Europe. DPD ( have a tracking system that allows for you to track your delivery. Once your parcel leaves our shipping department, we will send you a tracking number and information on how to track your parcel.  Please check your SPAM/promotions folders as sometimes the email goes into those folders directly, as per your email provider. 

Cost of delivery

Free delivery to the anywhere in Rep. of Ireland and Northern Ireland on orders with a value of €20 or more.  On orders under €20 there will be an additional postage cost of €5.25.
United Kingdom postage cost of €7.90 (Up to 31kg).  We will contact you for the correct pricing if the order comes over 31kg in weight.
Mainland Europe rates vary, please see table below.  Additional costs may be incurred on larger parcels which may be requested before shipment.

Delivery time

Dear Pet Parents, Petstop is always here for you. But due to extremaly high demand, current delivery times on all orders are 4-6 working days*. Stay well and thanks for choosing Petstop.

 *For any reason we have a problem with having your product in stock, we will deliver your order in 2-5 working days from the day we receive your order.  We will notify you by email/phone if there is any delay.

Processing Times: Online orders will be processed Monday-Friday 9am-4pm 

Order Confirmation: We will confirm your order by email, and send you an email once the goods have left our warehouse. If you have any queries regarding your order, call us on 00353 1 6875016 Monday-Friday 9am-4pm or email us on [email protected]  

Missed delivery: DPD will attempt to deliver your parcel another times before a 'missed delivery' notification will be left at the postal address. 

In-store 'Click & Collect': If the 'Click & Collect' option is selected, you will receive an email with your order confirmation and store details.  A second email and SMS/Text message will be sent once your order is ready for collection.  Once the store is open we will try our best to get your order ready for colleciton as quick as possible.  But, please allow 24 hours for your order to be complete.  If there is an issue with a product, we will contact you regarding the delay.

Returns Policy

If you change your mind or are not happy with your purchases for whatever reason, you may return it to us.  We have return options... 

1. To arrange return - An Post or DPD:  

a. Using An Post:  - To return unwanted product/s, simply visit An Post's returns website and fill in your information, print the information and drop it at your nearest post office.  As soon as it is received by Petstop we will issue a refund of the total cost of returned product/s.  Cost of return with An Post is €4.50 

b. Using DPD Parcelshop: - To return unwanted product/s, simply visit DPD's returns website and fill in your information, print the information and drop it at your nearest DPD Parcelshop - there are over 600 in Ireland.  As soon as it is received by Petstop we will issue a refund of the total cost of returned product/s.  Cost of return with DPD is €5.55

2. Return instore: if items are purchased online you can replace or return them in any of our stores with the receipt of the online purchase.

Faulty goods - If the goods are faulty or damaged when you receive them, you must let us know by phone or email within 48 hours. We will then organise a return. 

Refunds -

Once the returning product has been received in perfect re-sellable condition, we will issue the refund back onto the original payment card/gateway (Stripe or PayPal).  The payment will leave Petstop's account straight away, but depending on the bank/payment method, this can take up to 10 days for it to clear.  This delay is totally at your banks discretion.

International Shipping rates

Please note that cost below are a general guideline.  Some international costs may change and vary, due to size and weight of parcel.  If we find that the cost is dramatically different we will contact customer to request extra payment before shipping.  

Maximum Weight of parcel is 31kg

International Shipping Rates for
