Easy on-the-go: During car journeys or when going to the vet, spray directly in your cat’s carrier or basket 15 minutes before use.

Easy at home: Simply spray on doorways, cat-flaps, window sills and prominent objects around the house. To prevent marking if it already occurred, spray on marked areas after a thorough cleaning.

Good to Know: At home: Re-spray daily to reduce the likelihood of re-marking. During car journeys: re-spray every 4-5 hours (ensure your cat is away from the area while reapplying). Always wait about 15 minutes before letting your cat near any sprayed areas

How does it Work: Cats communicate through natural “happy messages” released from different parts of their body (e.g. their face, mammary area and paws). Scientifically these are known as pheromones.

When comfortable and happy, cats mark their territory as familiar by rubbing their face against corners, furniture, people or other cats at home. By doing that, they release a message. When present in the environment, these “happy messages” provide reassurance to the cats.

When modern life conflicts with their natural needs, cats don’t feel completely comfortable.
They do not release these “happy messages” anymore and can show signs such as spraying, scratching and hiding.

How fast will I see results: Almost immediately

How long should I use it: On-the-go (travel): if needed, renew application every 4 to 5 hours during long journeys. At home (inappropriate marking): spray once daily on the marked areas, until the signs have resolved

When to use:
If you plan to travel with your cat, spray FELIWAY CLASSIC in the carrier 15 minutes before
If you plan to visit the vet with your cat, spray FELIWAY CLASSIC in the carrier 15 minutes before
If your cats show signs of stress during transport: E.g vomiting, urination, defecation but also meowing, agitation and salivation
If your cat shows signs of stress at home like spraying, scratching walls or furniture, in targeted locations

Where to use:
On-the-go (travel): spray directly on bedding, inside the carrier, or in the car 15 minutes before
At home: spray once daily on the areas where your cat is spraying or scratching (E.g. sofa, chair, door frames or doors)

Where not to use:
Never spray directly onto your cat
Never spray in the carrier if the cat is inside the carrier
Always wait 15 minutes after spraying before letting the cat in
Do not spray on the scratching post, it will prevent your cat from using it (we recommend using FELISCRATCH by FELIWAY on scratching posts)

When not to use:
On-the-go (travel): Feliway Classic is not indicated for motion sickness when travelling by car. For this reason, we recommend that your cat should not have eaten for at least 6 hours prior to travel to avoid nausea and vomiting, but do not limit water before travelling
At home: If your cat has no access to a clean litter tray, it will urinate in your home, and Feliway Classic will not help.
If your cat has no access to a scratching post, it will scratch your walls or furniture instead (because scratching is an essential need of cats), and Feliway Classic will not help.
If your cat is urinating, hiding or eating less for medical reasons, FELIWAY CLASSIC will not help. It is important to consult a veterinarian to rule out any potential medical issues
Feliway will not help in cases of tension or even aggression towards owners. In such situations, we recommend to consult your veterinarian or a behaviourist.

How many to use:
Spray 8 to 10 pumps for every application
Each 20 mL bottle delivers about 16 applications (8 sprays / application)
Each 60 mL bottle delivers about 50 applications (8 sprays / application)

How long will it last:
Effect will last 4 to 5 hours.
Each cat might react slightly differently

Never spray directly on your cat!
Never spray in the carrier if your cat is inside
Do not spray on the scratching post, it would prevent your cat from using it!
